Judge Tarmapce, on taking the chair, alluded in feel- ing language, to tho death of Colonel Riker, and to tho noblo manner in which he met the same. jeutenant Brapwey, an oflicer in the Anderson Zouaves, whe was aid to Colonel Riker at the battle, being intro. dueed to the meeting, prococded to spenk of the de- ceased soldier, and gave a detailed and thrilling account of the manner in which the gallant Coionai lost his life, all of which has boon already publishod from the corre- spondents at the seat of war.
