Barley was in fair demand, with sales of 5,000 bushels at 7c. for State and at 78¢. for Canada East. Beef was in fair demand, with sales of 450 bb's. at $11 50 a$12 for plain mess and at $13 50 a $14 for extra. Tierco beef was quict.
