Mrs Anne Schumaker, one of the victims im the Man- attanville tragely, died on Tuesday evening from the effecty of her iujuries, Coroner O'Keefe was notified of the fact yesterday moraing, and at once proceeded to hotd an inquest upon the body. We note a gradual increase in the supply of money; we should say that 5 per cent was the general rate to-day for call loans, end 54a 6 for first class paper. The market is evidently re- lapsing into the dull condition which prevailed be- fore the first of the month. The Sub-Treasury has been doing a lively business lately; to-day the re- ceipts were $407,529, of which $384,000 were from customs; the payments, 156,262; balance this even- ing, $5,502,024. There was nothing done in forcign bis to-day, as usual on Wednesday. The market is called firm.
