MYSTERIOUS POISONING OF & BING SENG CONVICT. ‘The particulars of a mysterious case of poisoning at the Sing Sing State prison bave just come to light. On Mon @ay last, about 7 o'clock A. M., one of the inmates at the above prison, named Michael Marrin, was seized with a sudden illness and died in four hours afterwards. Tae physician in attendance gaye @ cortifloate of death by convulsions, and the friends of the deceased in this city were about interring the body upoa such certidcate whee the City Inspector, for certain reasons, refused to allow the corpse to be buried until an inquest would be held upon the body by one ot the Coroners. Accordingly Coroner Hills was notified of the occurrence, and yosterday the preliminary arrangements were made for holding tho in quest. Dre. Fioneil and Ferguson made a post mortem examination of the body, when the presence of some poisonous mineral, probably oxalic acid, in the etomech was very apparent.
