The tenants lost nearly 2 el of their furniture, as the fire spread with great rapidity from room to room, leaving mone untouched, but destroying everything witain its reach. A valuable horse and a goat, that were in the rear part of the feed store, were burnt to death. Mr ‘ogisperg estimates his'loss on stock of groceries, fur ture, horre, &c., at avout $3,000. He is not insured. The bur'ding belongs to Mr. Henry Baumann. It is damaged ye $1,000, and folly insured in the Bowery Impararce Company. There were seven iamulies in the house.
