NICHOLAS HAIGHT, ESQ., OF NEW YORK. Died, at his residence in this city, on Friday, the 14th fastant, Colonel Nicwonas Harcut, aged 62 years. His funeral took place on Sunday. Colonel Haight a few years since was chosen com- mancer of ihe Veteran Corps of the soldiers of the war of 1812, snd was principally instrumental in organizing those of them who were engaged in the defence of this eity during the war of 1812 iptoa military association. He bas been active in co-operating in measures to draw the attention of Congress, and tho Legislature of this State, towards affording relief to the survivors of those goldiers who took the part of the country ia the last war with Great Britain, referred to.
