Those railroads which earn no money, or lras than they pay to their sharehold- ers in the shape of dividends, must resort to a sounder policy and try a fissh of honesty before the general tone of the market can improve. It is believed at Philadelphia that the meeting of the directors of the Reading railroad cn the 20th, will decide in favor of declaring a dividend.
