As far as we can learn, after the full com uunication of opinions and propositions, it was thought best to wait for afew weeks for authorities which the Minister of Nicaragua expects to receive, In regard to Tebuantepec, we learn that formidable difficulties exist, which may materially delay the ratifica- tion, om the part of Mexico, of the late treaty between that country and the United States upon this important work. It bas been publicly stated, and we believe truly, thatthe Mexican authorities have revoked or annulled the grant to Garay. This we suppose. however, is not absolutely decisive of the question of the ratification of the treaty.
