The demand for money is inerensing every part of Europe. particularly in England. it willsoon be much greater here than it ‘has been for some time. We bave not paid for the balk of our importations as yet, and the payments of our merchants have hardly yet commenced. Their pur- ebares in the spring were made on sixand eight months eredit, and the paper given for them has not yet fellen due. A very large portion of our fore!'gn importa are mot paid for untilthe season closes, or until they are sold, and the time is approaching when remittances to a very large amount will have tobe made. As the demand for money increases on the other side, there ‘will be more apxicty on the part of the agents of foreign houres bere to remit, and that will create en inquiry for money which bas not yet been experieneed this season.
