A tull and comprehensive report of the affairs of the New York and New Haven Reilroad Company is in the: course of preparation, and will be presented at the an- nual meeting of the stockholders. It is the inten- tion of the President and Directors to place the road in perfect order, and supply the line with the requisite machinery for the most extensive operations, so that the eggregate cost of construction be pre- sented. So far as the arrang: its made between the New Haver company, ana the railroad and steamboat Mnes with which they have come in contact are con- cerned, we are satisfied they are upon terms as favor- able tothe New Haven Railroad as cireumstances would warrant. The report alluded to will give the stockholders all the infermation in regard to these mat. ters, they can desire; which, we have no doubt, will do away with the impression entertained by some, that the interests of the stockholders have not been pro- perly protected.
