New York, Satumpay Aprennoon, Juty 10th. ‘The market for breadstuffs continued heavy to-day. Sales of straight brands Genesee were made at $6, and of Michigan do at $5 75a $5 8734; mixed brands Michi- gan were sold at $5 50 a $5 68%. The article which sold at the lowest figure was not in very good order, and bare- ly passed inspection, Small sales of bakers’ brands, Ohio, were made at $6, and small sales Southern were made at ‘6 123g. ‘Towards the close of change there was rather more inquiry for the better qualities of Genesee, which were wanted for shipment; and at theleaving off, holders demanded $6 12}¢, and were indisposed to sell for less. Wheat was heavy, and transactions moderate ; sales of Ohio, good mixed, were made at $1 174, and of white do $123, Wefheard of nothing in Genesee. Corn sold treely. Western mixed at 58¢ a 60c; tlat yellow de at 62e a 65 conts; round northern yellow, at 65 a 663G0t8. At the close of ‘change prices became some tirmer, and the market closed firm for Western mixed at 60e a 65e for flat yellow, and 660 for Northern round yellow. The crop of Havana tobac- co—Vuelte Arriba, Tiera Adentro, Portido, yielded very little, and is, in general, of bad burning. Vuelte Abago, St. Catherine, and St. Sebastian, was an average crop, chin demand in Havana that we cannot expect anything of a large supply. Cuba tobacco is said to be plentifal, and of good quality. The crop of Connecticut seedleaf tobacco, so far as ascertained, will be pretty large thie season; of Pennsylvania seedleaf tobacco, only a small supply can be expected. Sales of 10,000 bushel ‘Western wheat were made, consisting of Ohio and Indi- ana mixed, at 850., and good white do at 90a92¢. Corn— sales of 6000 bushela were made, consiating,chiefly of Western mixed, at 40¢, Whiskey nominal. Provisions in moderate demand. Receipts during the preceding twenty-four hours have been about as follows :—Flour, 2000 barrels ; wheat, 10.000 bushels ; Corn 10,400 do. — Freights to Albany by canal—flour 650.; wheat 18¢.; corn 15e. Aunany, July 10—P. M. Sales of 5000 barrels, chiefly Michigan and Geneseo Flour, were made, at $5 60 a $5 75. Wheat continued very dull, and no sales worth reporting were made. Corn sales of 6000 bushels were madé, consisting of western mixed and yellow, at 630°a 58. Sales of 2000 bushels of Oats were made at 400, Barley was held at 60c. Rye continued dull.
