One of the large sized boats, with 160 tons on board, is now onits way tothe city. The concert of Joseph Burke, last evening, at the grand saloon of the Museum, was the most brilliant af- fair that has occurred in this city for years. Over three thousand tickets were taken at the door, and the seats, though provided in anticipation of a throng, were en- tirely inadequate to accommodate the admirers of De Meyerand Burke, who filled the spacious saloon in every part. Tho performances were excellent, of course, and elicited the most rapturous applause. Miss Matilda Kor- sinsky did not appear, but her place was supplied by Mrs. Watson. De Meyer is advertised to appear at the first concert of the Philharmonic-Society, on Tuesday next. ‘Mlle Blangy and Mr. Hazard made a very favorable | impression upon a crowded audience, last eveniyg. at the Arch Street Theatre.
