The latter price being the highest that we have heard of,and about two cents ubove the price paid before the receipt of the It is a fact of general notoriety, and has caused je complaint among our farmers, that the buyers in this city pay lees for wheat delivered at the doors of their mills, than they do some 10, 15, or 20 miles distant, making an actual differevce in favor of farmers whose lands are not considered as valuable as they are nearer the city, of some 3 or 4 cents per bushel in the price paid and the transportation.
