The question will soon be brought forward in the Legislature, and will create considerable excitement among the repudiators. A proposition hes already been made to sell half a million acres of land given to the State by Congress, and spply the proceeds to the payment of these bonds. The proposal met with se rious opposition from those representing the district where these lands are located. Both parties are afraid of this subject, but the question will doubtless be disposed of the present session of the Legislature.
