Louifbourg, 26th Le Chew. de DRUCOURY Fuly 1758, In Confequenee of the above Articies of Capitu- lation our Grenadiers went and took poffeffion of the Town ; and the Garrifon 2id down their Arms. On the 10th Inftant there were publick Rejoi- cings at Halifax, in Nova-Scotia, on Account of the furrender of Louifbourg, by the firing of Guns ; and in the Evening, I!luminations, &c. &c. We hear that it was the fuccefsful Capt. Boyle of the Boreas Man of War, who took the two Spanith Store- Vefiels that were bound to Quebeck, as has been already mentioned : They were laden with French Flour, Wine, &c. And according to a Let- ter from Halifax dated the 1 1th Inftant, they were then.hourly expedted there. We hear that his Exceliency, the Hon. Admiral Boscawen has, in a generous and polite Manner, made a teader to us of the province foow prince of Wales, upon our ferding people to mann her, and bring her up.
