PHILADELPHIA, June zg. Extral of a Letter from Antigua, June 1. «'Nothing very inaterial has happened here lately, unlefs the Infolence of the Dutch at St. Euftatiamay be thought to be fo. They have feized one of our Privateers, and take both the Perfons and Effeéts of all they can lzy hold of that have been Owners of private Ships of War, The Diligerice of our Men of War has indeed cleared our Shores of French Pri- vateers ; but they ftill cruize in great Number 20 or 30 Leagues to Windward, and make too many Prizes. Bpen 2t In a Letter from Barbados, dated 23d ult. it is faid, that the French had taken about 3o of our Veflels in 2 Month's Time befare that Date, On Friday laft came up here, two French Dutch Prizes, a Sloop and Schooner, taken by Capt. He is now in clofe Confinement in Providence Goal, by order of his Honour the Governor ; and tis hop'd the Villain will meet with a deferved Panifhment.
