NEW BRITAIN DAILY HERALD. FRIDAY. APRIL 25 19 Speeding Autoist Grabs Girl's Arm On Sidewalk, Drags Her to Death Charlotte, N. C., April 25 (CP—A hit-and-run driver who reached to the side walk, seized a 14 year old girl by the arm and dashed her to death against the pavement was sought today by Charlotte police. The girl, Lillian Dorine Condon, was fatally injured last night as she was walking home with a friend, Gregory Walker, in a Charlotte su- burb. The two were walking along the side walk swinging hands, Miss Walker said. Suddenly, a speeding brown road- ster swung up to the curb and an occupant reached out and caught Miss Condon by the arm. The girl was dragged several yards and thrown against the pavement. Her skull was fractured and she died a few minutes later. Miss Condon was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Condon. Her mother recently left the city to ac cept a position in the Condon and Lillian planned to leave Saturday to join her. OPTIMISM GAINING, P.F.
