S. H. Anderson Honored By Trade Compositors 8. H. Anderson of 42 Hampton street, president of the New Britain Typesetting Co. of this city, was elected a member of the executive committee of the Southern New Eng- land Trade Compositors’ association at the annual meeting in Springfield, Mass, Saturday. Typesetters of New England gave him this honor be- cause of the fact that he is a past president of the state association which merged with the larger as- sociation upon the request of the Massachusetts officials. The object of the association is the standardiza- tion of prices. Committee Will Select State Chamber Offices Henry Trumbull, president of the Connecticut Chamber of Commerce today announced the appointment of two New Britain men among the list of those who will have charge of nominations for new directors of the state chamber. The election will take place May 21. The committee consists of 16 members representing various groups and interests. Voting the state at large, New Britain will be represented by Frank H. John- ston, president of the City Coal & Wood Co., and for many years a di- rector of the state chamber. Repre- senting organization members from this city will be Everett J.
