Darien, Conn., May 1.—(UP)— Motorcycle Oficer Waltér Berquist of the Westport police was reported in a serious condition at Stamford hospital today as result of injuries received here last night when the front tire of his motoreycie blew out. The machine turned two complete somerssults, hurling ‘Berquist- ¢0 feet along the pavement.
