PR Amid a decorative color scheme which involved the colors of thrce New Britain High school fraternities, the inter-fraternity dance of the Alpha Tota Epsilon, Theta Sigma, an@ Alpha Delta Sigma fraternities was held at the Elks club last eve- ning. Approximately 100 couples took part in the dance which was considered one of the most success- ful in severa! years and the event of the present high school season. The colors resembled & rainbow in effect. This was brought out es- pecially strong by the streams which reached from a center point in the ceiling to several points in the room in & circular arrangement. During the evening, Miss Kathryn Maloney of Hartford, one of the guests, sang as the orchestra played the music for the dancing couples. The successful manner in which the dance was conducted was due to the efforts of Chairman Paul Ciancl and the following committee which consisted of three members of each fraternit; John Zotter, Frank O'Brien and William Buckley of the Alpha Tota Epsilon fraternity; Mr, Cianci, Thomas Hughes and Michael Baylock of the Theta Sigma fra- ternity; and George Hance, Duane 8teinle and Harold Parsons of the Alpha Delta 8igma fraternity, Miss Katherine Griffin of the high school faculty, was the patroness. Other guests were Miss Anne Dorney of the Nathan Hale achool faculty and Miss Mary Griffin of the Bart- lett school faculty. ~ ° .
