Mermann of Shuttle Meadow ave- e, New Britain, skidded on the ighway and turned over. A call was sent to a local garage to have the car furned upright but upon areival of the towing car it was found that the car had already been uprighted and had proceeded on its vay. Hermann was uninjured, the car receiving only a bent fender. A car driven by Walter Bruum of 198 Park street, West Hartford, was forced oft the highway near the Manstield residence about 3:30 ‘clock yesterday afternoon and cashed into a telephone pole. No injurics were reported but the ma- chine was wrecked. Bruum was accompanied by two other men who claimed that a Jiad cut in front of them to avoi Ditting another machine coming in the oppostie direction, forcing Fruum to leave the road.
