CENTER DISTRICT 70 ELECT LEADER Robert H. Bray Reported Favor- fte of Newington Commission Newington, July 6—A mecting of the commissioners of fire district will be held in the town hall Monday evening to elect chairman. 1t is reported certain that Robert H. Bray will be elected chairman. Mr. Bray was elected chairman last February at a meeting at which al- leged illegal voting occurred. At a | subsequent mecting, R. H. Erwin was elected chairman and there- atter, until the annual meeting, the business of the district was at a standstill because of the lack ot co- operation between the two parties.
