| THIRD WARD CLUB { HAS TWO LEADERS “Regulars”Re-elect Bartlett and Allee Re-elects Himself In spite of the fact that the Third Ward Republican club met last night for the express purpose of clearing up the dispute over who the officers of the organization are, there are still two claimants to the presidency. Councilman Donald L. Bartlett was elected presidert at a meeting held at § o'clock, the following be- ing named to serve with him: Logan E. Page, vice-president: D. M. Shep- ard, treasurer; Clesson W. Parker, secretary. | Strolling into the meeting room | goon after the meeting had adjourn- ed, J. B. Allee, who claims the presi- dency, secretaryship, treasurership, and all places on the executive com- mittee, expressed surprise that an “attempt’ had been made to con- duct a mecting for the election of officers. Pulling up a chair, he promptly called a solo meeting of | his one-man executive committee, declared himself the legally elected | president, criticized the methods used in calling the earlier meeting. endorsed his own administration, and then adjourned the meeting.
