Statistics for the year 1924 show that of the total annual consumption of gas for that year, almost 75% was natural gas. The Consolidated Gas Utilities Company is a consolidation of companies serving 400,000 g(opulmon in northern Oklahoma and southern ansas. Its sales of natural gas to consumers last year were 16 billion cubic feet which com- z‘r:l with slightly over 9 billion of the arti- ial gas sold by all companies in Connecticut.
