Realizing that much depends upon organization, the Aemocratic women also have sot about organizing in a business-like fashion. A number of mocial events will be held in the next few montks for the purpose of bringing the democratic voters to- gether. The women plan to hold the first of these organization meetings on Friday, May 18, at the storehouse of the Berlin Auto Sales Company, when they will give a whist pay. The committee in charge of the af- fair is working on arrangements and 1t is possible that some of the prom- inent democratic leaders of the state will be brought here for the occa- sion. Johnson, mon of Mr. and Mrs. Frank T. John- mon of 1378 Boulevard, West Hart- ford, werc married this noon at 12 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents by Rev. Dr. Abel A. Ahl- quist of the First Lutheran church, New Britain. Miss Edith Holmgren was the maid of homor ‘and Edward M. Hoimberg the best man. The bride wore a gown of white matin and princess lace, period style. She carried a shower houquet of white roses and baby's breath and fore a tulle vell trimmed with eranga blossoms. The maid of hon- or was attired in a gown of orchid erope and carried a bouquet of or- chids and . sweet peas. The gift of the bride to the maid of honor was a beaded bag. The bridegroom presented the best man with a silver rigarette case. Following the wed- ding a buffet luncheon was served, members of the immediate families being present. The house was decor- ated with a bridal arch and spring flower decorations. The couple left on a wedding trip to Canada and upon their return will reside in West Hartford. Mr. Johnson is employed by the Retail Credit Company of Hartford. To Practice Tomorrow.
