EASTERN MILLIN ERY CO. 133 MAIN STREET Prices at Garber Brothers are just as low in September as they were in August If we had held an August “sale” and offered so-called discounts of 20, 30, 40 and 509% - - - our prices would now have to go up 20, 30, 40 or 509. It would be unjust to the public to continue to offer dis- counts durmg September or have a “sale” in September under another name. An August “sale”, you know, s a pledge of discounts for August only. But Garber Brothers did not have an August “sale” + and happily therefore, it 1s not necessary to Increase our prices iIn September to - prove that our August “sale” was genuine. Garber Brothers NEVER have “sales”. Instead of sell- ing at a high price one month and at a so-called discount another - - - the economic conditions under which we operate this business enable us to sell at the lowest possble prices EVERY DAY in the year. And August was our greatest month in spite of the “sales” held everywhere ex- cept at Garber Bre‘, hers. We asked the public to compare our EVERYDAY prices with so-called discount nrices. The public did compare and found that while dis- counts may sound good - - - Garber Brotherss EVERY- DAY prices represented com- monsense ECONOMY . And in September, Gar- ber Brothers' prices go on as usual. So it s easy to see that in September the money sav- ing opportunities at Garber Brothers are even greater than EVeEr.
