Your doctor will tell you ninety per cent of all sickness comes from inactive bowels and liver. Dr. Edwards, a well-known physi- clan in Ohjo, perfected a vegetable compound mixed with olive*oll as a substitute for calomel to act on the liver and bowels, which he gave to his patients for years. Dr. Edwards’ Olive Tablets are gentle in their action yet always ef- fective. They bring about that na- tural buoyancy which all should enjoy by toning up the liver and clearing the system of, impurities. The main part of the town is on & hill overlooking Conception bay, in which is located Bell island with its famous iron mines. O'Brien’s farm is behind the hill. The whole eastern coast of the colony is cut up into great penin- sulas. On the southernmost of these is the city of St. John's, capital of Newfoundland. Across Conception bay is another on which Harbor Grace is situated. On the other side of this second peninsula is Trinity bay, which cuts so deeply into the island that it almost meets the waters of Placentia bay on the southern coast of Newfoundland, which is roughly triangular . in shape. Is Fishing Country Newfoundland is primarily a fish~ ing country and except for a few lumbering, paper mill and mine set- tlements in the interior the popu- lation is almost exclusively ocen- tered on the peninsulas and the shores of the innumerable bays and coves. On a due west course these condi- tions would continue for more than 200 miles untii the plane passed north of Port-Aux-Basques and reached the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
