According to him the buzz was spoiling every- thing. At about 6:30 o'clock we heard it on our set and it was pretty bad, although it died away later. o s e From 6 o'clock on, last night, sta- tions came through well. We heard WEAF, New York, at that time and wa had to cut down the volume, so strong did the station corne through. An aria from “The Huguenots,” was dials with a bang and a whoop! An organ recital was offered and we listened to “Indian Love Call” from “Rose Marie,” and “Let Me Call You Sweetheart.” Very nice. DI Another station in Texas, uniden- tified, came through on about 375 meters. We heard the announcer say something to the effect that fans should send to “us away down here in Texas,” in order that the station might know how things were get- ting through. A dance orchestra an engine bell ringing away off in the distance while the announcer was speaking. Beyond that, we have | no idea of where the station was. Perhaps some of you fans can help us out.
