Dr. Wood was not present to defend his bellef that experimentation with animals proved nothing in regard| to heredity in human beings. Miss Slye - also aftacked the Amerlean assoclation for the con- trol of cancer, the principal organ tzation in America for disseminat- ing knowledge regarding the dis. case, for not telling the public that the tendency to cancer was inherit- ed.
