How many can you recognize? They are all from New Britain and vicinity, your friends and neighbors. They have been working for two weeks getting the new store ready. They have sorted and marked thousands of pieces of merchandise, They have spent hours in training under a special personal director, learning how to serve you in Grant's most efficient manner. One of the features of the new store is a special suite of rooms for the exclusive use of the women employes. This is located in the rear of the basement, so that it gets natural sunlight and air. There is a rest room nicely furnished with rugs, wicker furniture, and connected with a kitchenette where warm meals may be prepared. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar is always furnished by the Grant Co. cloak room for the safe keeping of the employes’ personal helongings, and @ model lavatory. The many saleswomen who will hecome part of the regular establish- ment here form but part of the great family of Grant (Girls reaching from Maine to Texas, and from Minnesota to Florida. There are over 5,000 of them in all, all interested in the same work, all doing about the same In addition there is a locked thing. To keep them intormed what other members of the family ave doing there is published every few weeks a house organ, The Grant Game, which is circulated to all employees.
