PRICES OF WOOL TAKE AN UP TURN Rise of Rive Cents a Pound De- clared Due to Stronger Market Boston, June 6.~The,Commercial Lulletin today says: “There is a broader and a stronger market {n wool, prices belng gener- ully about five conts a scoured pound bigher than last week. Activity In the bright wool states is very much keener and some buying is reported in the territory states, with a fair consignment movement in swing. “Better business in goods is re- ported, more especlally in woolens, ulthough worsted and knit goods are in better demand. “There is rather more activity at the river plate and prices show a slight hardening tendency. Other- wise, the forelgn markets are hard- v changed, Bradford being slow on account of the holidays and rather in favor of the buyer. “Mohair moves moderately at hardly changed rates. “The rail and water ahipments of wood from Boston from January 1, 1025, to June 4, 1925, inclusive were 71,181,000 pounds against 79,606,000 pounds for the same period last year. The receipts from January 1, 1025, to June 4, 1024, Inclusive, were 133,151,800 pounds against 137,984,- 200 pounds for the same period last year," The Commercial Bulletin will pub- lish the following wool quotations C.
