Rile’ did not vote, but he had previously made his preference known, advo- cating the appointmeut of Mr, anc Mrs. Palmer. The Palmers have had previous experience in conducting the towa farm and, in the opinion of the pres- ent commissioners, were excellent farmers and executives. Chairman Riley expressed himself at last night’s meeting as of the opinion that the city is fortunate in securing the services of executives who hava proved thelr ability to conduct the place in a businesslike fashion, and treat the inmates properly. A new contract will be prepared by the corporation counsel to gov-| ern these offices, so.worded that the city can dispense with the eervices of the superintendent and matron on 30 days notice. 2485/ LF \V \‘VIOY\FD SHOULDERS BEST MAINE POTATOES RQUND SIRLOIN PORTERHOUSE 3 peFk 25c m14C | MILK | LEAN FRESH | SHOULDERS | CHALLENGE STEAKS ALL DAY SPECIALS IN ALL DEPARTMENTS LOIN LAMB CHOPS LAMB FORES ..
