Two years ago the council voted the site of the proposed building and the matter is now in the hands of the board of compensation and as- sessment. Alderman Johnson amended to strike out items for a charity board automobile and for a police depart- ment clerk. RECKLESS DRIVER FINED Miguel Repoll Pays $25 for Fallure To Make Tarn at Corner of Elm and Commercial Strects, Miguel Repoll of 338 Kust Main street was fined $25 and costs when he was found gullty by Judge Alling this morning in police court on a charge of reckless driving, He was arrested several days ago by Policeman Patrick J, O'Mara, who investigated an accident in which a machine operated by the defendant shed into a pole at the corner of Commerelal and Elm streets.
