Tha Associated Press, London, Aug. 8.-——Such progress has been made in adjusting the dif- ferences between the Germans and the allies over the program for put- ting the Dawes reparation plan into effect that there is still hope, accord- ing to the British spokesman that the international conference may com- plete its labors within a day or two. Several outstanding proplems re- main to be settled, however and the Americans, who are as optimistic as most of the delegates see small chance of leaving London before the middle of néxt week.
