PLAINTIFF IS VICTOR IN SUMMAR! PROCESS Mrs, Hadley (.-eu Judgmen( in Action Against Connors-Halloran Company. OouU In a judgment handed down today Justice of the Peace Harry P. Roche finds for the plaintiff in the summary process action of Mrs. Eliza Hadley against the Connors-Halloran Co. for posscssion of the store occupied by the defendant at 217 Main street. The case was heard several weecks ago and was featured by clashes be- tween former Mayor Joseph M. Hal- loran and Lawyer Cohen of New York of the defense counsel. In the decision the court finds that the rent due November 1 last year, on which time was given until the 15, was not paid until November 30. The receipt stated that the payment was not received as rent under the lease, but only for use and occupancy of leased premises, but should in no way affect the forfeiture as claimed. The rent of the store, it was brought out at the hearing, was $800 a month. Kirkham, Cooper, Hungerford & Camp appeared for the plaintift, and Judge George W. Klett, Alfred LeWitt and Lawyer Cohen for the defendant. It was sald today that steps for an appeal are being taken. &2 &2 ¢ NEW BRITAIN DAILY HERALD, FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 1924, BARGAINS FOR ALL Men’s Suits and Young Men’s Suits—Many Are Two Pants Suits ==~ $26.50 v sso0 One Pant Suits as Low as $16 50 $19 50, $23 50 MEN’S SOFI' PLAITED SHIRTS $1.00 Were $2.95 WHITE OXFORD COLLAR ATTACHED SHIRTS $1.48 Were 32 25 PURE IRISH LINEN WEAVE HANDKERCHIEFS llc each WOMEN’S SPORT COATS $10.00 Were $15.00 to $30.00 She smiled gra- 8 to the lowly, nterest into his HELND OF s FORGOTTEN MEN .
