Callahan is a former member of the common council and has been active frater- nally., The democrats announce that they are prepared to proceed with the debate at any time and under any cenditions that the republican can- didates may prescribe, Mayor Paonessa will hold two of his openTair rallies tonight. The democrats were pieased with the re- ception accorded the head of the t'eket, Alderman F., L.
