_—ee——— —— ANNOUNCEMEN Burial Vault VAULAB— D. KRONHOLM 3 WINNER OF DOLLAR Swanson and Boardman Poetry Pretty Good--Explanation The Judge of Want Ad poems has repeatedly asked for short poems, and he, being human and apt to err, gives the prize to a poem of many lines. Now, just to reward one who have adhered closely to the rules the Judge hereby, awards the the dollar prize to D. Kronholm of 413 Ellis St., this city and with the dollar gives the compli- ments for submitting something “snappy.” The contest is going on at a rapid “clip” about 76 poems a day are com- ing in, and everybody is having a good time. Mr. Klingberg called at . the court today and the $1 was deliv- | ered to him as per request. The Judge has yet to find a Salvation Army man to deliver the $1 for Mrs. Patterson. Mr. Swansop and Mr. Boardman, two of our old friends, have submit- ted some good poetry for which the Judge will thank them profusely but not mind you, give them the dollar this trip. Confidentially, they like to write poems, and the Judge kind of likea to inflict their poems on the public. (That isn't generally known, 80 don't tell them about it.) Here goes for the poems:-— It your thoughts are soaring And for a radio set you sigh, PBroadcast your desires today To 8pring & Butkley-—no delay.
