Although the week opened rather dull with nothing very interesting on the social calendar for Monday or Tuesday, it ended in a round of gaicty for the college ‘and school set. On Wednesday evening was held the Bachelors' ball which, although given in Hartford, attracted several from town. Thursday was more or less of a family day with “at homes” and quite a little visiting. Of course sev- eral family dinner parties were held at the Shuttle Meadow club, many of them lasting through the dancing which was held from 4 to 9 o'cloek, ! Many folks dropped in for a while. Last evening the A. D. 8. fraterniiy dance drew the school set. The Skid- more henefit bridge party held yvester- day afternoon and the Alpha Alpha benefit bridge held this afternoon drew many of the older folk as well as the school set. Besides these the week-end has been brilliant with any number of smaller bridges, teas and theater parties. Tomorrow will see the last of the school set, return- ing for a few weeks of study to come home once more fo a round of gaiety| CluB events next | at Christmas time, week will be interesting.
