London—Short Wedding Ceremony Is Followed. London, Noy. 28.--Mrs. Enrico Caruso, formerly Miss Dorothy Park Benjamin of New York, and Captain Ernest Ingram of London were mar- ried today in Brompton Oratory. The ceremony was brief, the short- est possible one being employed. Some 500 persons were present in the oratory, but for the most part they were uninvited individuals indulging their curiosity. The bride was to have been given away by Baron Romano Avezzano, the Italian ambassador to France, but he was unable to come to the wedding and so Gabriele Prezioti, counsel to the Italian embassy in London, acted in his stead. The bride wore a dress of velvet, with sable furs, and a velvet hat with birds of Paradise on each side. Her jewels were pearis. She carried a large bridal bouquet of mauve or- chids. | Gloria Caruso, little daughter” of |the famous tenor, was accompanied to the oretory by Baroness Avezzano wife the ambassador.
