A quarter of an hour| Jater an airplane, fitted with a ma-| chine gun, left the aerodrome and it was not long before the car was sighted. Shots from the machine gun | were fired wide, as a warning, where- | upon the car stopped and the pas-| sengers and driver hid among tho‘ rocks. There they wers held up by the air- | plane, which covered them with the machine gun, until the motor cars of | the customs officials and police ar- rived and gathered them in.
