GROTTO CEREMONIAL Annual Fall Exemplification for Bene- fit of New Candidates Will Take Place Next Wednesday. The fall ceremonial of Aziz Grotto will be held at Turner hall, Wednes- day evening, November 22. The bus- iness meeting, will be at 7:30 o'clock and ceremonfal at 8:30 o'clock. A large class of candidates will be initi- ated ab this time. The ‘exemplification of the work by | the cast, which is known as par ex- cellence, should insure full attendance. Alling in the city court yesterday afternoon reserved decision in the case of John %, Meehan against Anng Tumllias, et al, for $196 for a monument placed over the grave of her deceased husband. Law- yer Joseph G, Woods appeared for the plaintiff and Lawyer David L. Nair for the defendant. The plaintiff alleges that the de- fendant entered into a contract with him fora monument, which he erect- ed and set up in the cemetery, while the defendant claims that she thought she was at the Smith monument works. Although she entered into a contract with Mr. Meehah, the next day she cancelled the contract, she ciaims, and ordered one from the Smith company, which she now has.
