Kiniry of the New Britain foothall team said today that efforts are heing made to secure a fine attraction for next Sunday aft- ernoon at Vibberts Field. No definite selection among applicants for games here has as yet been determined. “Gene” Cummings, the Torrington boy who played a few games with the New Britain team this season, has WITR CLERKIN; il joined the West Side A. C. of Hart- ford, and will not be seen again this year in a local uniform, “Boomer" DIIl, a local favorite last year with the Nutmegs, and for a time a member of the New Britain team, has cast his lot with the West Side A. C. of Hartford. Jhrough a satlsfactory agreement with the New | Britain and West Side A, C. manage- ments, there will be no further dick- ering for players on either team for the remainder of the season. Manager Kiniry has completed ar- rangements for two games with the West Side A. C. of Hartford. The first game will be played at Clarkin Field, on October 22, the proceeds to be donated to a Hartford charity or- ganization. The second game will be played on November 12. Whether it will be in this city or at Hartfogd, depends on how the fans support the locals in the next few games.
