New York Man Is Drowned Off Float Greenwich, June 9.-— James Blan- chard, aged 40, of 852 Sixth avenue, New York city, employed at the In- dian Harbor Yacht club house was drownod off the club float, early to- day. He was with William Goldomer, a waiter in the club, in a rowboat and aitempted to change seats. The craft upset and Blanchard being unable to swim, went down. Goldomer covld not aid him and swam ashore. The body was recovered this forenoon. For two vears Dr. Potter has been appointed a special lecturer on preaching and pastoral care, but the present ap- pointment makes him a member of the seminary faculty.
