W. Bandy in Clay county circuit court here April 6. Miss Pugsley was dismissed from the elementary schood at IXnobel be- cause she had violated the rules, nc- cording to D Hicks, principal. The girl and her friends claim that she had only talcum powder on her face. Received Letters. National notoriety has been given the case, and Miss Pugsley says she has received thousands of letters from all parts of the country and from persons in all walks of life sympathiz- ing with her on the question. The rules were promulgated by the school board last August at the be- ginning of the public school term at Knobel, and the case has been called up several times, but each time some- thing has delayed ft.
