A. will begin on Monday of next week and during that week sev- eral new classes will be organized. Miss Jean Wardrope, general sec- retary at the Y. W. C. A, has been in New Britain for some time and dur- ing her stay has made the local in- stitute one of the most popular {n the state. Miss Wardrope has with her several capable assistants, including Miss Elizabeth Roby, club and em- pioyment secretary Miss Gertrude Trossett, physical director and Miss Helen Bradley, girls' work secretary. Junior Dept. Plans. The junior department at the Y. W. C. A. has arranged a most attractive schedule for the new year. The swim- ming classes for the juniors will be held on Tuesdays from 4 until § o'clock and on Saturdays from 9 until 12 o'clock in the morning. The rythntic dancing classes of this de. partment are conducted on Saturday mornings in three groups, one at §:45 o'clock, another at 9:80 o'clock and another at 10 o'clock. Filkes with a chapcrod are held on Saturdays from 1:80 until 6 o'clock. Girls’ Reserve Club. The pinnacle and rainbow division of grade schaol Giris' Reserve club mects on Thuredays at 4 o'clock and the Junior “Tri” of the club meets on I'ridays at 4 o'clock. New Classes. The physical education department bhas completed the new schedule for 1922 and swimming classes will be as follows: Tuesday-—-2 to 2:30 p. m., special swimining; 2:30 to 3:30 p. m., health class and plunging. Wednesday—3 to 4 p. m, special health class and plunging; 7 to 8:30 p. m,, intermediate; 8, advanced; 7:30, beginners. Thursday—2:15 to 3:15, health class and plunge; 3:15 to 8:45, be- ginners' swimming class for women. I'riday—1, beginners'; 8, advanced; 7:30 to 8:30, intermediate.
