Joseph Young of 96 Park street, Hartford, died last night at the Hart- ford hospital following a short illness. He was 85 years oid. He leaves seven sons, and one of them, Henry Young, resides in this city. Mrs. Elizabeth Cox. Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Cox were held at St. Mary's church this morning at 9 o’clock, Rev. Wil- liam A. Krause officiating. The bear- ers were Joseph Flanagan, George Kennedy, Cornellus Loughery, John F. Burns, Edward Hartnett and Wil- liam Flanagan. Burial was in St Mary's cemetery. Miss Jennie Ladd. Jennie Ladd, aged 76, dicd yes- at the home of her sister-in-law, George M. ladd, with whom she Tad been living sinoe the deati of her brother, George M. Ladd, several months ago. The deccased was a na- tive of Manchester but had lived in this city for a number of vears. She was a member of the Trinity Methodist church. Surviving is a brother, ¥Frank Ladd of Andover.
