Paris, Oct. 26.—Although declaring France must not interfere in ques- tions relative to the interior policy of England, newspapers of this city, com- menting upon the death of Terence Mac Swiney, lord mayor of Cork, pay tribute to his courage. “One can only bow down before the man who has died for his ideal” de- clares the Journal. and the Echo de Paris says: = “The sacrifice made by Mac Swiney will resound throughout the world as a heartrending appeal of a suffery ing nation.” Borah in Meriden; Here For Wednesday’s Rally New York, Oet. 26.—Senator Wil- Yam F. Miss Florence Ingram. Miss Florence May Ingram, aged 25 years, who died on Oct. 19th at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lathrop, Eormerly of this city, at Atlantic, Mass., was bur- jed in Riverside cemetery at Water- bury, Conn., on Thursday, Oct. 21. Services were held in the Hall Me- morial chapel. The Rev. D. C.’Troxel of the Simonsville Baptist church of- ficiated. The body was escorted by Mr. and Mrs. Lathrop and their daughters, Mrs, C. P. McFeaten of Annapolis, Md., and Mrs. W, S. Rock- well of Brooklyn, N. Y. Miss Ingram, a trained nurse, had been broken down in health since the influenza epi- demie of two years ago, at which time she served most faithfully. She con- tracted the influenza and hi#d been in failing health ever since. Louis Scalise, Louis Scalise, aged 32 years, died yesterday afternoon at his home 258 Oak st . after a Ingering illness. He leaves his mother, two brethers an¥ two sisters. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at St. Mary’s church. The burial will be in St Mary's new cemetery, iy Miss Margarct Sheehan. ‘The funeral of Miss Margaret Rhee- han was held at 9 o'clock this morn- ing at St. Mary’s church. Rev.
