M. T. A. & B. Jrum corps has been made public. The final awards were made after considerable dificulty because of the close competition of all corps repre- soted for.prises. The judges were of the same opinion as the general public that the parade contained corps which were almoat one as good as another. The awards were as follows: Royal Typewriting corps of Hart. Yord, first prize for best appearance; Lancraft corps of New Haven, first prize for anclent drumming, with the Warner Brothers' corps of Bridgeport seaond. The first prize, modern playing, went to Father Matthew's corps, of Hartford, and second to St. Paul's of Kensington. First prize for best playing ‘n the bugle corps was awarded the Devon Boys' corps. Aieat prize for playing in the piccolo corps wa awarded the Oriental corps of Stamford, with the Silk City ! corps of Manchester second. Tentative plans for the fall cam- Ppaign will be discussed tonight at a meeting of the democratic town com- mittes in Committeeman David L. Dunn's office in Booth's dblock. The session will be called at 7:45 o'clock. In view of the fact that Chairman John Glackin's term has expired, it is not improbable that action will be taken upon the sel on of a new leader for the committee.
