But the sight of snorance of it in Ohio, perfected = e e e < ATTENTION CITIZENS i To the Electors of the City of New Britain | Hear the Taxpayers as it looks like the Taxdodgers’ Association howl. Last year it was “Vote for the 21 mill tax and help keep your rents down.” You know the answer. There are over 14,000 tenants in the city, the average increase of each tenant is at least $7 per month in the last two years. - That has given to the house owners an increased income of $98,000 per month, or one million, one hundred and seventy-six thousand per year. And now they kick about paying a small percentage of that to the city in increased taxes. ARE YOU GOING TO LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT? We have good schools, they can and should be improved. We want our parks beautified. A comfort station shsuld be provided, and not down in some alley. We believe in paying fair salaries to city employees. We also believe that milk should be provided for the people at the Town Home even if it costs the “tremendous” sum of $75 per month, We want the City of New Britain to be made a cleaner and better city, it takes money, but we the RENTPAYERS feel we are paying our share, if not directly we certainly are indirect- ly, and surely the fair property owners will want to do no less. i Showj Ycur Inferest bty Ailerd'rg (ke Cily Meeling at Gremmar Schoci Hali, Friday Evening RENTPAYERS’ ASSCCIATION
