New York, Feb. 25.—Professor Gustave Meyer, Hoboken’s reader of the stars, has a tip from the skies, Sayvs the professor: “As an American scientific astrol- oger I wish to state that the starry messengers indicate and impart to me the fact, via wireless, that a rip- roaring, howling Jjazz band blizzard is due on the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th. Hence the public would do well to secure sufficient supplies in advance, such as eatables, fuel, etc., or the necessities of life. I judge that we will experience some of the most peculiar atmospherical distur- bances in history on and during the apove mentioned dates and that chlamities of magnitude will allso occur on land and sea.” RUMANL ; ;;; ; ;R.A\‘\'IIG. Are Bringing Troops Back to Line Set By Peace Conference. Budapest, Feb. 24. — Rumania’s army units which have been occupy- ing a front along the river Theiss are withdrawing to the line fixed by the peace conference from €0 to 80 miles east of that stream. This movement will be completed on February 25 and the next day Hungarian troops will cross the Theiss. They will thus ob- serve agreements not to move forward until g4 hours after the Rumanians have retired. Reports of Rumanian withdrawals are received with much relief by Hungarians who allege the Ruman- jans have systematically looted the country. Allied officers who have been investigating charges of looting in this city and in the plain of the Danube will inspect the Theiss coun- try.
